How Your Donations
Help Our Community
Emergency Food Relief
Donations help stock and distribute food hampers. These hampers are provided at regular times in different King’s Church locations.
Food is sourced from local supermarkets and food rescue services, and some meals are cooked onsite.
Op Shop
King’s Community Care runs an Op Shop at 56 Gemvale Rd, Reedy Creek.
Proceeds from the Op Shop support the food relief services and other community care programs. (When you shop or donate, you’re directly contributing to the fund that supports vulnerable people.)
Plus One Care
Beyond food, donations help run the community care arm — “Plus One Care” — which focuses on empowering people beyond their crisis point and helping them rebuild. Some of the funds go to providing clothing, furniture, and referrals to other support services.
Operational Support
Running the food relief program, the Op Shop, and community support initiatives requires volunteers, staff, storage, transportation, and infrastructure. Donations help keep these vital operations running efficiently.
