Donation Process
Thank you for thinking of King’s Op Shop. We appreciate your generosity and support of our volunteers and community.
To help our team manage space and keep donations organised, please follow our donation process:

1. Bring donations during opening hours
Please do not leave items outside or unattended. Illegal dumping is prohibited, and council penalties may apply. -
2. Present donations to our team
All donations must be shown to our friendly team for approval before being left at the Op Shop. -
3. Donate clean, complete and usable items
Please make sure items are clean, in good condition, complete and suitable for resale. -
4. Larger items need approval first
For furniture, electrical items or large donations, please contact us first so we can confirm whether we have space and are able to accept them.. -
5. Donations may close when we are full

Over the past year, the Op Shop has aided hundreds of families in need within the community through affordable clothing and essential items.
Environmental Benefits:
Each year, we help divert approximately 100 tons of waste from landfills by recycling and reselling donated items, promoting sustainability and eco-friendliness.
Funding for Local Programs:
Donations have funded a variety of community programs, including fresh food boxes and meals at the Kings Community Care Food Crisis Centre, as well as providing support for local charities, significantly impacting people’s lives.
