Thread Together
King’s Community Care partners with Thread Together to provide brand-new, quality clothing to vulnerable individuals and families experiencing hardship. This service is delivered directly to those in need via a Mobile Wardrobe van that travels across Southern Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
THE THREAD TOGETHER MOBILE WARDROBE
Thread Together is a Sydney based company that collects end-of-line brand new stock from fashion retailers around the country. With the support of volunteers, the clothes are sorted in readiness to be distributed to people. By collaborating with some of Australia’s largest clothing suppliers, we are saving the items from landfill.
The Mission
We believe that people in need deserve the dignity and choice of new clothing, without judgement. With the mobile wardrobe taken out each week, we are able to connect with new people and hopefully give them a Restart in life. This new clothing brings self-respect and belief in the future. Dignity is at the heart of everything Thread Together sets out to achieve. We are excited to be working with them.
